Mouth Mirror Box Printing in Sialkot: Getting the Dibbi Right for Your Dental Instruments
A mouth mirror box is not a big item. It costs a fraction of what the instruments inside cost. But it is the first thing a dentist, a dealer or an import buyer holds in their hand, and it is the thing they judge before they ever open it.
We are a printing press on Green Wood Street, Sialkot, and we have been printing since 1954. In the last few years the number of dental instrument makers in this city asking us for mouth mirror boxes has grown faster than almost any other job we do. So this post is written for the people who actually order these boxes: the dental and surgical instrument manufacturers and exporters of Sialkot who need a dibbi that looks like it belongs with their instrument.

Why this little box matters more than you think
A mouth mirror head is a small stainless steel disc. On its own it looks like nothing. But packed in a well-printed box with a proper tray, it starts to look like a product instead of a spare part.
Three types of buyers look at your box:
The dentist buying a single box for the clinic, who wants to know how many pieces are inside and whether the mirror is front surface or plain.
The dealer in Lahore, Karachi or Peshawar, who puts your box on a shelf next to five other boxes and picks the one that looks more professional.
The export buyer, who is comparing your box with a box printed in Germany or China, and who will quietly use the packaging to decide how serious your company looks.
None of them read your email. All of them see your box.
What a good mouth mirror box actually needs
A mouth mirror dibbi is a folding carton, usually tuck-end, made from printed paperboard with a die-cut insert inside so the mirror heads sit at an angle and do not knock against each other in transit. That insert is the part most suppliers skip. Without it, mirror heads arrive scratched and the customer blames the mirror, not the packing.
This is roughly how the boxes we print are built:
| Part of the box | What we normally use | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Outer carton | Printed paperboard (duplex / board as per weight of goods) | Holds shape on a shelf, takes a sharp print |
| CMYK offset or digital, plus spot colours if needed | Instrument boxes often need a clean, sharp photo | |
| Finish | Gloss or matte lamination, spot UV on the logo | Gloss reads as “retail product”, matte reads as “premium” |
| Inside | Plain board, or die-cut tray / insert with slots | Stops the mirror heads from moving |
| Closure | Tuck-end flap, sometimes with a small locking tab | Survives courier handling without tape |
| Copy | Product name, piece count, size, brand, origin | The buyer reads this before buying |
The box in the photo above is a 10-piece mouth mirror box: full colour photo on the lid, dark checkered pattern on the sides, cream tray inside with ten slots, mirror heads standing upright in a row. That is a retail box, not a shipping carton.
The count question: 10, 12, or your own
Most Sialkot dental suppliers pack 12 mirrors per box, and 10 pcs boxes are also common. Some buyers want 5, some want 24. There is no fixed rule here, only what your own customer asks for.
This is where a locally printed box beats an imported or generic one. When the piece count changes, the tray layout has to change, and the dieline has to change with it. Sitting with a press in the same city means you can approve a proof, adjust the slot spacing, and print again without a container, a customs agent or a four-week wait between you and the box.
Print the languages your buyer reads
Look closely at the box in the photo. Under “10 PCS” it says:
Mouth Mirrors / Miroirs Dentaires / Espejos Dentales
That is not decoration. A box that carries the product name in English, French and Spanish travels better, because the same print run can go to a French-speaking distributor and a Latin American importer without a second plate. If your export markets are fixed, tell us the languages at the artwork stage, not after the plates are made.
The details that decide whether the box looks expensive
Colour consistency. If you print a red logo on a box in March and again in July, both runs should match. This is the main reason buyers come back to one press instead of shopping around per order.
Sharpness on small text. Piece count, size and the word “stainless” are printed at 8–9 pt. Cheap board and wet ink turn that into a grey smudge.
Board weight. A box that feels flimsy tells the buyer the instrument inside is flimsy. Same print, heavier board, completely different reaction in the hand.
The edge of the lid. A clean crease and a square edge are what separate a box that closes properly from one that bulges after a week in a drawer.
Barcodes and batch space. Most export buyers ask for a barcode panel plus a small blank area for a batch or lot number. Leave room for it in the design, not on a sticker at the end.
What to send us when you want a quote
You do not need a finished design file to start. You need four things:
- The piece count and layout – 10 pcs, 12 pcs, single row or double row, with or without handle.
- The size of the mirror head – so the tray slots are cut correctly.
- Your artwork – logo, photo, product name, and any languages. If you have nothing, tell us and our team can help with the design; that is part of the service.
- Quantity and delivery date – the quantity decides the rate and the printing method, so both together give us something real to quote on.
Send these on WhatsApp and you will get a straight answer instead of a brochure.
Why buyers from Sialkot keep coming back to a Sialkot press
Sialkot’s dental and surgical industry is spread across Ugoki, Shahabpura, Model Town, Daska Road and the export zones. Everyone in that chain knows that a delay in packaging holds up the whole order. A box that arrives after the instruments are ready is a box that has already failed.
That is the simple advantage of printing in your own city: you can walk into the press, hold the board in your hand, see the first proof come off the machine, and take the boxes with you instead of waiting on a tracking number. You also deal with the person who actually printed your job, not a helpdesk.
We print packaging boxes, labels, hang tags, folding cartons, rigid gift boxes and export cartons for businesses across Sialkot, and our labels and cards travel to more than 30 countries. Mouth mirror boxes are simply one of the jobs we do most often.

Frequently asked questions
Do you print mouth mirror boxes in Sialkot? Yes. Mouth mirror dibbi boxes are printed at our press on Green Wood Street, Sialkot, along with other dental and surgical instrument packaging.
What piece counts can you print? 10 pcs and 12 pcs boxes are the most common, but the count follows your requirement, and the tray insert is cut to match.
Can you design the box if I only have a logo? Yes. Design support is part of what we offer, so you can send a logo and product details instead of a finished artwork file.
Can the box have text in more than one language? Yes. Many of our export boxes carry the product name in English, French and Spanish on the same print.
What finish should I choose for a dental instrument box? Gloss lamination gives a brighter, more retail look; matte lamination looks more premium. Spot UV on the logo works well with both.
Do you deliver outside Sialkot? Yes, we work with buyers in other cities and export markets as well as local customers in Sialkot.
How long does an order take? It depends on quantity, board and finishing. Tell us your required date with the quantity and we will confirm the timeline before you commit.
